This came from my g'friend in Kansas. They have been inundated with tornados and severe storms the last few weeks. The pic is awesome and really puts into perspective the power of Mother Nature.

The ice and snow in the picture is leaving!!!!! I can smell Spring in the air! The pine trees have tons of pine cones. The sun is shining more and with a warmth that has been missing since late fall! The birds are back!! I haven't seen a robin yet but you can hear the hoots, whistles, screeches, chirps, twitters, and general chaotic spring noises, as they call to one another from the woods across the road. The remaining ice cracks sharply as it thaws in the ditches. The threat of flooding is gone for today. I don't feel so blue seeing the sun shine today!
